I opened my eyes and sat up on a couch in a house I've never been in before. "V! She's awake! V!!" Debbie yelled "I'm coming, I'm coming" said someone who I was guessing was V. "Hi honey" she said "I'm Veronica but you can call me V" she said sweetly. "Does anything hurt right now?" She asked me "my neck" I said coughing "it hurts like a bit-" carl cut me off "Elizabeth" carl said running over "are you okay now?" He said sounding worried
He had a cut on his forehead. I reached my hand out, he gently pushed it down "Are you-" he cut me off again "As long as your okay I'm okay." Carl said hugging me
I hugged back
"And I'm glad your okay" carl muttered hugging me tighter I smiled "Uh v?" I asked "Yes?" She answered "What time is it" "5:17am" V said looking at her phone "Oh shit" Debbie said "is Elizabeth okay to go to school?" Debbie asked V looked at my neck. "Just cover up the red with some makeup and your good to go. But just be careful" she said rubbing my back "Thanks V" carl said "Anytime" she said We all walked out.
We walked across the street and entered the house. "Another new Carl Gallagher girlfriend" a red headed boy said "I wish" carl said smirking "Are you liam lip or Ian?" I asked laughing "Ian" he said sipping some beer "Elizabeth" I said. "Wait Ian why you up so early?" Debbie asked "Couldn't sleep so I desisted to come down and have some beer." Ian said taking another sip "And I'm not even going to ask about your explanation to be here this early either" Ian said laughing We all laughed I started walking upstairs "Hey Elizabeth" carl said I turned around and carl had my suitcase "Ugh what would I do without you" I said walking back downstairs I hugged carl and took my suitcase. Ian mumbled "doesn't look like just a friend to me" he said sipping his beer again. I walked upstairs and opened my suitcase. I searched through my clothes for the first day of my new school. It took me about an hour and a half to pick out my clothes. I put my hair in a messy bun and walked downstairs. I saw Fiona at the table drinking coffee. "Hey Fi?" I said "yeah" she said looking up at me. "Uh my- well I don't feel safe in my home at all and-" Fiona cut me off "stay here as long as you want" she said smiling "thanks Fi" I said. Carl walked downstairs with Ian and Debbie "sexy" Carl said "Carl I swear" I said laughing "again you say you guys are just "friends" what who said that?" Ian said laughing. "Okay kids the bus will be here in 5 minutes take your lunches and lets go" Fiona said "hey Liam" carl said walking over to the table "let's play steal the bacon." He said And carl grabbed some bacon off of Liam's plate. "CARL GET YOUR ASS HERE" Fiona yelled but Carl was already out the door. Debbie and I Followed.
We sat down at the bus stop and finally the bus came. We walked in I was close to Carl. One girl said "another sibling?" To her friend loud enough so we could hear her.
"Yo carl" one boy said
Carl looked over
"That yo girl?" He asked staring me down
I rolled my eyes
"Because if it isn't I'd smash." He said licking his lips and looking me up and down
"Come on man cut the Fucking crap bitch" carl said
"Wow" I said laughing "lot of people gonna do that?" I asked carl looking at him "Yeah but I'll protect you princess" carl said putting his arm around me. "Carl Gallagher are you hitting on me?" I said looking "shocked"
I laughed "Nooooooo I was just saying that for no reason" he said sarcastically "Plus why wouldn't I" he said smirking
That fucking smirk
The bus got to school I got so many stairs from both guys and girls.
I walked up to Debbie "hey debs what home room do you have because I have no idea where anything is" I said laughing
She laughed and looked at my schedule
"You have homeroom with Ms.Fronti and ...so...do I" Debbie said giving me back my schedule
"Damn baby" one boy said My mouth dropped open "He just hit my butt" I said Then next thing you know all you hear is "Hey loser don't touch my girl" Carl screamed "Hey don't need to start trouble Gallagher if you can have a slice of the cake why can't I?" He said smirking at me
I cringed
"Fuck off" Carl said pushing him
The kid through a punch "Guys stop!!" I screamed There was now a circle around Carl, the kid, me and Debbie. "Carl he's right. If you get a piece maybe he should to" I said smirking at the kid
Carl stuttered
The kid came over I heard some girls saying "slut" and some boys saying "get some"
He leaned in and I leaned in
"Guess what You're wrong carl gets the whole cake" I said as I kicked him where the sun don't shine. Then I slapped him across the face
He fell on the floor holding his nuts
I walked away putting the middle finger up
Carl put his arm around me
All you could hear was kids saying "badass" and "that's hot"
Carl looked at me "you're so hot" he said and smirked
I blushed and started talking to Debbie.
*time change to after school*
The bell rang and debbie and I walked out of School. "Did you know your known as badass of the year and its the first day" she said laughing "Haha what can I say" I said "Yo debs and friend" someone said "Hey lip" Debbie said "Want a ride home?" Lip said to Debbie "Yeah and this is Elizabeth she's gonna live with us for a long time because of stuff that's going on at home" Debbie said "Hey" lip said "Hi" I said We got in the car and about 5 minutes later we were at home. *later that day* I walked downstairs in sweatpants and a niki bra. I hopped on the couch next to carl "what are we watching?" I asked cuddling up to him. "The exorcist" Carl said putting his arm around me.
I felt protected in a way
Fiona walked downstairs
"Alrighty so you guys dating yet?" She asked We both look at each other "Nope" carl and I both say at the same time and we both burst out laughing. When the movie ended it was about 10:30pm At around 8 debbie decided to join us on the couch. Debbie came close to me and whispered "soo Liam is sleeping in my room tonight so you kinda need to sleep with carl"
She laughed and teased me
"Shut up" I said laughing and hitting her softly
"Okay but admit it you like it" she said running upstairs I went upstairs into Carl's room and got into bed. about 5 minutes later I felt 2 arms wrap around my waist. "Good night" carl said "Good night" I said We both dozed off to sleep ------------------------------------------------------- Sorry the end of this chapter is kinda boring. But I'll be writing more tomorrow!
