She's cranky and still for some godawful reason, exhausted and all she wants to do is sit down with Hook and end things. Except, she has already agreed to watch her baby brother, but hopefully he will lighten her damper mood.

She doesn't bother with knocking, instead she breezes right through the rundown green door and is pelted in the face with the most horrifying scene and she's seen some frightening things.

"Surprise!" She hears before her mind can even process the situation unfolding before.

Her mouth is agape while her frantic eyes scan the room of all the familiar faces. Her mother, Belle, Zelena, Blue, Tink and of course, Regina are all there, cheering, holding up champagne glasses with toothy grins on display, well, except for one. She specifically told Regina she didn't want a bachelorette party, it's humiliating, especially since she's going to call the whole thing off.

"I thought I said no party?" Her mouth spews recklessly as Zelena steps into her personal space and shoves a glass of champagne in her hand before she shuts the door behind her.

"There are no naked men here..." Zelena sasses through a mischievous smirk and Emma's brain still can't process why this witch continues to say such cryptic things around her.

"Oh, it's just a little get together before we send you on your way as a wife!" Her mother exclaims, her smile so bright and wide, that she finds it all a little contagious. She offers a weak smile, but that grin fades rather quickly knowing she's going to disappoint her mother as well.

"Well," she swallows the boulder of emotions swelling in her throat and plasters on her best fake smile, "thank you everyone for coming out. I really appreciate all the love and support."

She thrusts her glass of champagne into the air, inspiring all the ladies to do the same before they cheers. Emma is the one who finishes her glass in one gulp, but everyone assumes she's just eager to have some fun. Her eyes land upon Regina, stoic, but mindlessly tapping the bottom of her champagne flute, and she rushes to her in a haste, roughly snatching up her elbow and dragging her away to a private corner where prying ears can't eavesdrop.

"You couldn't talk my mom out of this?" She hisses bitterly under her breath, but her eyes betray her, drinking in the tight little black dress clinging to every one of Regina's voluptuous curves and accentuating that beautiful cleavage. Regina's taunting her. She fucking knows it. "This makes breaking off the wedding so much harder."

"There was nothing I could do. You know how persistent Snow is," Regina fires back, her face hard and expressing that she hates the idea just as much. "And what happened to you? Your mother said you slept all day, are you alright?" And just like that, her tone flicks from bitter and snobby to genuinely concerned, but there's this sadness behind her eyes like maybe she's worried about why Emma was absent all day.

"Yeah, Hook was fine as soon as I explained what happened. I told him we were planning wedding stuff and I passed out." Regina's eyes narrow, but Emma's glare is just as stubborn. "Trust me, he wanted more, but I told him I wasn't feeling well and was too tired. And I did sleep all day. Actually, I think I'm over stressed and my body is crashing."

"You're so dramatic, Swan," Regina murmurs, rolling her big brown eyes and Emma's about to argue, because that's just what their mouths are programmed to do when they are around one another, except someone rudely interjects the conversation.

"And what are two whispering about over here?" Zelena taunts, her eyes sparkling with mirth as she refills Emma's empty glass.

"Nothing," they both growl in unison, glaring murderously at the fiery redhead that just loves to spark drama.
