Lunch went by quickly after me and Ruby laughed about the most idiotic of things.

My legs were hurting quite a bit due to the impact but I was managining.

It was difficult to sit and stand and walk, but mananaging either way.

As time flew by it was already the end of the day and I was leaning against the lockers, as I was putting my stuff away.

"Bonjour." Xavier said in a beautifully bad French accent.

Yes, we just finished our French lesson. It was as bad as you think, maybe worse...

"Bonjour." I laughed.

His smirk grew upon his face, causing him to look as if he was witnessing a puppy walk by.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Are you?" He questioned, closing my locker shut and picking me up onto his back.

Was this an out-of-nowhere piggy back ride?

Does he do this for fun?

"You've been limping all day, I'll drive you home and take you to school tomorrow." He said as his cheeks turned to a strawberry colour.

"You really do read minds..." I sighed, hugging him tightly from behind.

This caused his cheeks to become even brighter than before.

Although, I couldn't watch his face grow redder, I imagined it in my head and awed in his cuteness.

He was almost like a puppy to me and I love puppies.

"Let's go somewhere." I begged out of boredom of just going home.

"You can't go anywhere, walking like that." He laughed.

I hung my head in betrayal.

We were right in front of my house but I dreaded of going into an empty home.

"Please." I begged again.

"Once you feel better." He smiled.

"Ugh." I groaned.

I was thinking of a compromised plan.

"Why don't you come in?" I asked as a grin growed upon my face.

"You know what happens when you invite a boy over. Are you sure your ready for that?" He laughed, waiting for my reaction.

"You ruined it now." I said.

"Aw. Too bad. Maybe next time." He laughed in an evil demeanor.

"Whatever." I groaned as I shut the door of his car.

I waved goodbye politely, as he did give me a ride home.

That gentleman.
