Chapter 8- When Life Gives You Lemons

it's been 2 days since the beach and I just can't get off my mind who's Will? it's been bugging me for a while but today I think was the worst wanna know why, well...

I was walking around the house with a map I was given, I was trying to find the gym they have on the second floor but on the way I took a wrong turn and ended up on the roof of Miller manor

"Well at least the view is nice, I guess" I said to myself looking out onto the big a state owned by the Miller's

then I heard the faint sound of someone playing the guitar

"SOS, I call for help

you left me stranded

and alone

I call for help cause I know you won't be coming back home

SOS I call for help

you don't seem to be anywhere in sight

I said SOS I call help

you left me stranded and alone"

I followed the sound of singing and saw a man sitting on the edge of the roof with their feet winging off the edge

I felt the need to call out to them but realized they would stop singing if I did so I stayed quiet and waited for the next song

the man looked out across the landscape as if looking for something but he couldn't find it so he continued

"Will, you've been lost

and we can't find you no more

we've been looking but it looks as if you're gone

where ya hiding

Cause we can't take it no more

and we've been looking but it looks as if your gone"

I heard a sniff and the man ----who's back is facing me----- wiped his nose like he was crying

then I realized that song it was about Will, the guy Thomas was talking about before

I started backing away thinking I had definitely crossed some lines, listening to such a special song without permission, but as I made my way to the door I came through I slipped landing hard on the ground with a 'thud'

"who's there!?!" the man stood up slowly and started looking around

I quickly got up ----ignoring the pain my my leg----- I ran over to the door, opened it and ran down the stairs to my room

I closed the door behind me and slipped down it, sighing

"who you hiding from?"

I looked up to see Mason sitting on my bed with a piece of paper in his hand

I stared at him still not computing what just happened

"earth to Maddison!"

"hmm... Oh yeah, hey" I smiled up to him

" you looked like you've just be chased by zombies" he stated with a smirk pulling at his lips

"Yeah I guess I do" I stood up and looked the my mirror
