Standing, Still

She stood frozen in the middle of a crowded place

Stuck staring at a retreating back

Wishing time will stop and rewind the moment before he walked away

"He'll come back"

"He'll come back"

"He'll come back"

Chanting the same words over and over again

Her prayers and begging didn't seem to matter

When the figure in front of her was long gone

Disappeared from the hundred of people that were passing through.

If his love was true then he'll come back

If he trully care about her he'll come back

If he do...

If only he do...

Her "if" turned to "maybe"

Her smile turned to frown

Her heart ache

Her hope sink

When she realized he was not coming back

But what hurt her the most is the moment he walked away without even looking back

Still, She stood.

Alone in the place where he left thinking maybe one day,

He'll learn his way back home.
