Canopy beds have been around for centuries. I really like the look and design of the canopy beds from the 1880s til about the 1960s. I remember in the late 1980s my friend Tonya having a big full size canopy bed in her room. My friend Jessica also had one but her's was the 1980s single bed style and nearly not as ornate as Tonya's was. I had always wanted one but sadly never got the chance to own one. Below is a picture of a nice ornate one I think is very pretty.
