I can remember as a kid, many times the Disney channel would offer a week of free viewing in hopes that you would purchase the channel on a monthly subscription since it was considered a "premium channel" with the likes of HBO. Which my parents never purchased the premium channels and we could only watch them when they were free. So over the many years of getting that free week of Disney at least once a year, I had watched and fell in love with quite a few movies they aired that I still like to this day.
These are the ones that stuck with me the most and I recommend you see them if you haven't already.
The Canterville Ghost (1985) - with Richard Kiley, Shelly Fabares (and a young Brian Austin Green)
Return To Oz (1985) - with Fairuza Balk
Alice In Wonderland (1985)- with Natalie Gregory and many famous actors as the Alice In Wonderland characters.
The Parent Trap II (1986) - with Tom Skerritt and Haley Mills
The Canterville Ghost (1986) - with Alyssa Milano
Bigfoot (1987) - with Candace Cameron
The Little Kidnappers (1990)
Perfect Harmony (1991) - with Justin Whalin and David Faustino
I know I would have never discovered these movies if it wasn't for those free Disney weeks on Paragon cable (our old cable company in Central New York way before Time Warner bought them out).
