I'm sorry I didn't come up with a name for the best friend, I understand that it's repetitive lol. Oh well.

"There's a boy behind me. So cute!" My best friend squeals childishly into my ear. I rolled my eyes, casually looking around her as I continued to dance on the dance floor. I noticed a guy with dark brown curls, his hair freshly cut with green eyes which were incredibly hard to miss.

I nodded, impressed with her choice for once. "He's cute. I say go for it." I encouraged her, pushing her gently in the arm in the direction of the guy.

Immediately she froze, shaking her head repeatedly in a fast action. "Woah. I didn't say I was going to talk to him!" She shouted in my ear above the loud music.

"Oh come on!" I frowned. "We're finally able to go out clubbing and you back away from the chance to talk to a cute guy?" I whined. Well, she's the one who's freshly twenty-one. With a little convincing, I dragged her here and so far we've encountered very few drunken idiots and sadly, very few cute guys. I know my best friend, and she's shy as hell but hey, with a little push I know she'll stride up to the brunette with confidence.

She shook her head obediently however, walking over to the table where our bags and belongings sat. She placed her drink upon the table after taking a final mouthful which finished the glass. "I don't know what you're staring at," she said simply, licking her lips. "I'm not going over to him!"

"Yes," I beamed confidently. "You are." I know her, and what she needs is a little help before her and the green eyed boy will be locking lips in the corner of the club. I hadn't set a goal for the night, but with her help, I'm destined to get the two of them together before we leave.

She reluctantly allowed me to drag her across the floor, over to where we were previously swinging our hips. The guy was deep in conversation with whom appeared to be a friend, but you could tell he was wrapping up as the friend backed away towards the door. Once he'd finished, I casually glanced back at him to ensure he was completely alone before not-so-gracefully shoving my best friend into his direction.

She shrieked loudly at this, causing me to laugh not-so-secretly to myself as I continued to dance, facing the opposite direction to them. My plan was to shove her into him, causing him to catch her, preventing her from her fall. Obviously I couldn't take a guess as to what actually happened with the pair, but she hadn't returned yet which I had guessed is a good sign.

I left it a few minutes before deciding to look back at them, smiling upon seeing she had taken him back to our table. He was sat in what was once my chair, leaning on my coat which was flung into the back of the wooden seat. He smiled as he talked, a very wide and light-filled one at that. He easily lit up the room just by his dimpled smile. I could easily see why my best friend had a liking to him already. And to think I could be the reasoning for their hopefully future dates? Even better.

Eventually, after finding myself having near to no fun dancing alone, I decided to approach what looked to be a good-going conversation. As I approached the table, I could hear the giggle of my best friend - even over the loud music of the place which in my eyes, is certainly a good thing. So he has humour? Good to know. I leaned over the table, grabbing my drink. I noticed the pair of green eyes on my as I placed a hand on the table to steady my balance as I grabbed my drink with the other.

I pulled away, taking a sip of the fruity drink which was thankfully still cold as it hit my tongue. When my eyes fell down to my best friend, I noticed the not-so-welcoming glare aimed clearly in my direction.

"Right, I'll leave." I nodded with a small and very much awkward chuckle.

"Could you get me another drink, actually?" I felt a hand grasp my wrist. I turned, it now being my turn to glare at the pair of doe eyes glaring up at me. First she wants me to leave fit away and now she wants another drink? Make up your mind!
