And we have the audacity to be terrified.
"What about. 9/11?"
What about the Iraq war?
How can we in justice be verified?
"Muslims are ISIS"
Then Americans are the KKK.
By this shouldn't we all be identified?
But let's ignore the fact that
Muslim children are. Ring bombed
And Muslim parents torn from their homes.
Let's act like
Muslims are inhuman,
And pretend we sit on a throne.
Islamophobia,
Is that a real word?
It seems as though all our morals have blown.
Not all muslims are terrorists
And it's wrong for us to say,
It's wrong for us to think it this way.
Muslims are people,
They're one of the same,
They ran from ISIS when they came.
They're just as terrified,
If not more.
They want terrorists gone. That's what they swore.
They're only just people,
And we should all try to help.
Stop the terrorism and fear of themselves.
Islamiphobia,
It shouldn't be a word,
It means fear of Islam,
Muslims,
The whole goddamn world.
We're only the change
We see in the world,
But it's not the changing
It's growing out of the word.
