    The light brought back the same Cory.

    "Oh come on!" Yelled Undyne.

"Well, that didn't help." Asgore stated.

Toriel rolled her eyes. "Of course not Asgore, everyone can see that."

Cory flinched and walked backwards warily. "A-Agore? T-The king of monsters?" Then he looked at Papyrus with rage. "What did you do to Connie?"

Papyrus had no idea what he was talking about. "Who is Connie?"

Cory started to look like a cornered animal. "Okay, Undyne and Papyrus are in the same room and aren't arguing and throwing death threats. That's weird."

Alphys understood now. "This is a different Cory the the other one. I bet that universe was split into to somehow."

Cory looked at her. "Wait what?" Then his eyes widened. "Y-Your Alphys, Undyne's girlfriend."

"Uh...yep."

He backed up more. "Where's Flowey?"

Asriel winced. "Right here."

Cory shook his head. "No, Flowey's a flower." Then he spotted Toriel. "Y-You came back! Where did you go?"

Toriel lifted a brow. "I did not go anywhere my child."

He appeared confused. "But you left the Ruins after..." he trailed off.

Toriel only shook her head.

"Cory?" Frisk asked worriedly.

He came face to face with her. "Your voice, it sounds familiar. Who are you?" He asked.

"Frisk."

Cory paused and waited until he groaned. "Nothing."

"Uh okay, now I'm confused." Sans said.

Cory looked sheepish. "I don't remember anything before I fell into the Underground. Just my name."

Papyrus put a hand to his mouth. "That's horrible! Someone should not have to suffer through that! I shall do what I can to help you!"

"Your different from the Papyrus I know back where I come from." Cory said.

"Is everyone from this universe about killing?" Undyne asked with annoyance in her voice.

Cory shuffled his feet. "That, and enslaving every monster in Snowdin and probably everywhere else."

"Who would do this?" Undyne and Papyrus asked simultaneously.

Cory looked at them with an emotionless expression. "You two, as well as Asgore."

    They all froze in shock along with Frisk. "W-What about the Ruins?" Stuttered Toriel.

    Cory lowered his head. "Dust, except a few."

    "Who did it?" Asked Frisk.

    He looked sorrowfully at Toriel. Her eyes widened. "I-I..." she had no idea what to say.

    He gave her a sad smile. "But you changed. You left and let me free the remaining monsters."

    She gave a watery smile, and Asgore smiled warmly.

    Alphys asked something as she shuffled her feet. "D-Did you kill any monsters?" All eyes were on him.

    He immediately yelled, "Never! Just because I can I would never intentionally hurt them!"

    Every monster gave him grateful smiles. He smiled as well. "I need to go back. Papyrus might kill my friends if I'm home to long." His face fell. "Or something worse."

    Papyrus waved him off. "It's fine human! Go and save your friends."

    Frisk picked up the ray and aimed it at him. "Goodbye. I hope you get your memories back."

    He smiled and waved as the beam hit him.
