♥︎|I'M THE COACH|♥︎

Sometimes weird things happen. Sometimes strange things happen. Sometimes strangely weird things happen and sometimes weirdly strange things happen.

Like out of nowhere, you find a frog in your toilet.

Or, when you open your wrapped lollipop the candy is separate from the stick.

Or you buy an orange juice but when you taste it, it's apple juice inside.

Or, when you come out of the shower your hair are completely pink.

Or, you look into the mirror and find that your eyebrows are gone.

Or, you order a pizza and you find out that there's no cheese on the top.

Or... you get it, right?

Similarly, something strangely weird happens to me today. To say that I'm shocked will be an overly under-understatement. My eyes bulge out of their sockets when they see Christopher standing before me in a red apron looking nothing but annoyed. His hands are holding a cup of coffee, offering it to a customer while his eyes stay glued on me.

When I get out of the basket of shock I give him a small smile, a sheepish smile and make my way to the office. I knock on the office's door only to humiliate myself because nobody answers. I knock again, but no luck. Not missing Christopher's death glare, I walk inside only to find the room dark.

There is no light at all and I almost feel like nobody is in here but my brain objects because of the snoring my ears can hear. I walk further inside and clear my throat trying to make out the office in the darkness. "Excuse me," I sound after thinking a bunch of minutes for what to do.

Hearing some shuffling, I walk towards the origin of the sound in order to find the owner of this darn coffee shop. On my way I crash into something and even though I try to not let it drop but the sound of something breaking disappoints me. Before I can hit something else, light flickers around the room making me sigh in relief.

My eyes dart towards the floor where I see the victim of my clumsiness; a completely broken vas. Frowning, I look up to meet with the sight of a sleepy-looking man. He is rubbing his eyes, running away the sleep as he tries to adjust them to the light.

His eyes move towards the vas before meeting with my guilty ones. I give him a sheepish smile and make my way towards the empty seat placed there. "You were supposed to knock, I guess?"

"And you were supposed to be awake when you gave me an appointment, I guess?" I answer, mimicking him. Unlike I expected, he smiles at me and leans back in his chair as he crosses his arms over his chest.

"You're right actually. So what makes you think you are suitable for this job, Coco?" Quirking his eyebrow up, he questions me in a kind-of-bossy tone but witnessing him sleep earlier has given away all bossiness he holds. He says my name with a weird expression on his face. It doesn't feel bad because, guys, I get this a lot.
