The dragons cheered,expectant to see another dragon die under the talons of the Queen's champion.
She leaned over him,talons raised for the final blow that would pierce his scales and send him to the afterlife. Instead,she lowered her talons and said simply,"I love you."
The hell of the arena seemed to lessen all the sudden.
She then went on."AndIwaswonderingifyoulovedmeandif this was foolish-"she added on.
"Peril,oh Peril." He said,and clutched her to his chest,right in the middle of the arena,admist the blood and dust.
