Joker stared at the potted plant sitting in front of him. He looked at Spade. The back to the plant.
"Joker you've been doing that for five minutes what's the problem?"
Joker looked at Spade.
"You gave me a plant."
"Yes. Yes I did."
"I can barely take care of myself how do you expect me to take care of a plant?"
Behind Joker, Hachi gestured to a set of pictures hanging on the wall of what the Sky Joker looked like before he showed up, and after he showed up.
Spade suddenly remembered every single reckless thing Joker had done up till that point.
"You're right. Oh my word what was I thinking getting you a living thing, I remember Hachi told me you killed a freaking cactus how would you keep this one alive."
Joker seemed mildly offended.
"Hey, I'm not that bad!"
"Joker-san you killed two different cacti in the span of one week."
