It was a great day
cold winds , little rain
so I went out
to check the city
and watch the clouds.
I went to my favourite park
I sat on my favorite swing
wet my feet in rainy water
I crossed so many little puddles
played like a little child
And now the day was turning into the night
I headed back to place
then I saw him, playing in the rain
He had paperboat in his hand
i sat there in a wet bench
watched him lovingly,
playing like a little man
he had that gorgeous smile on his lips,
rubber boots and raincoat was gone,
shivering in his white tee,
Still he managed to look effortlessly happy
if anyone would see him, they would think he's creepy.
yes, it was getting dark
but I still sat there,
watching him joining the company of children and their boats
he did saw me and gave me a little smile
and I thought it's time to head home.
Another morning came
but it was same as yesterday
so I went out again to find that little man
I went to my favourite park
but I didn't sat in my favorite swing
I was in hurry you know,
i sat on that familiar bench again
hoping he would come
I waited for him for so long
then someone tapped on my soldier
when I looked back
he was there with his gorgeous smile
he asked me " wanna go on the adventure.?? " showing his new paperboat
I nodded my head " yes "
we jumped and crossed every lake
we drank droplets of the rain
we admired the beauty of the rainy days
but for me, he made it more great
sun was there to accompany us
he was adoring us
so I didn't get surprised
when he gifted us
I mesmerizing rainbow
to make my day everglow.
from that day
I love the rain
but now I don't go to serch for that little man
cause now
he is my home.
