Cześć!
Hey, hey, hello!

Since I have summer break( finally ) and realised I may be not that lazy as I thought I decided to upload another chapter.
And it really surprised me that this book already has about 20 views. So it means someone really noticed it.
I also added literal translations so check it out(!!if there is no literal translation then it means the same both in EN and PL)

Let's get started!
Zaczynajmy!

To greet - Witać / powitać

1.   HELLO - Cześć

Read 'cz' like 'ch' in english word 'check'.

2.    GOOD MORNING- Dzień dobry

LT:Day good
You need to know that in Polish there is no such thing as 'good afternoon'. We just simply say 'Dzień dobry'

3. GOOD EVENING- Dobry wieczór

So if you want to greet someone you just say 'Dzień dobry' or 'Dobry wieczór'. Which are formal. 'Cześć' is informal. Personally I don't really use 'Dobry wieczór' and many people I know don't do that as well so it's pretty normal if you say 'Dzień dobry' in the evening.

4.    SEE YOU LATER- Do widzenia

LT: Till See

5.   BYE-  Pa (or papa)

Be careful with that one. You use it only when you say farewell to friends or sometimes your family. Mostly if you call yourself by your names (not honorifics) then it's ok to say hi.

Now maybe I'll show you some slang that is commonly used.
Love me now.

These can be used both as greeting and farewell.

Siema
Siemka
Siemano

Its a shortened version of 'JAK SIĘ MASZ?' Which means 'How are you?'

Nara

Shortened version of ' NA RAZIE'
Which is an informal 'See you'. Use it as a farewell.

Trzymaj się

Means something like 'Stay safe'

Hej
Hejka
Hejo

Like you already noticed it's from english word ' hey'

Of course there is more but they are mostly used by dresy (polish name for ppl wearing tracksuits and they mostly say things other  people don't use.) or phrases which have complicated story behind it.

And i guess that's it. Easy and short, right?
