A/N: This chapter foes to vansalim18 since she asked me to update. And I will but this is going to be short since I have to do this while studying. I’ll try updating daily or every second day but it’ll probably be short. But anyways on to the story.

Niall’s POV:
Niall woke up choking on his own blood and right there he knew that the Prince or King had decided to get him Prince Zayn a mate. Tears ran down his cheeks as Niall felt his heart break over again, while his wolf whimpered within him. Niall then wiped the blood that was coming out of his nose.
A mate that has was rejected or a mate that has met their mate already are affected by the devastating cycle. It starts when your mate or a higher relative decides to mate with someone else. First your body begins to reject clean blood and force it of you. Then your organs start to fail, and lastly your whole body gives out as you lay awake until you let of your last breath. It can end when your mate sleeps with you and he/she doesn’t have to mark you.
Niall sighed because he knew that this was finally the end for him.
“Everyone in the kingdom to the meeting room now!” Niall heard the King Yaser’s, beta yell.
Niall sprang up in surprise as the he heard the announcement. Niall really didn’t want to go and meet Zayn’s new mate but knew he had no choice. Slowly getting up from the ground night started stumbling him way to the meeting. Niall try to walk properly but with the way his insides were feeling which was very much in pain it made walking normally nearly impossible to do. Finally making his way to the meeting room Niall sat down in a chair at the very back of the room. Niall sat up in as he saw the King walk into the room towards the front with the Prince.
Since Niall was sat in the back that meant he was able to tune out the King’s words. Not like Niall really cared away’s because the King was talking about Zayn and his new mate. Soon after Niall felt his nose start to bleed again.
Zayn’s Short POV:
Zayn sat bored while his father spoke. Why did they have to tell these people they were below him and worth nothing? When Zayn started smelling blood he sat up in his throne and looked around the room. Finally Zayn’s eyes locked with the lowest of the low, Niall Horan.
‘Mate. Mate’ Zayn heard his wolf shout of in ecstasy finally having discovered who his mate was. Zayn on the other hand wasn’t as thrilled to find out who his mate was. As a plan started to formulate in Zayn’s mind he had a small smirk on his face that widened once he saw the pained look on Niall’s face.
See the thing was Zayn didn’t want a guy as a mate, and he certainly didn’t want Niall James Horan as one. What would people think of Zayn if they found out Niall was Zayn’s mate? Maybe Zayn could’ve been fine with his mate was a guy if it were anyone else, but as it was Niall was his mate and he wasn’t about to tolerate that.
Back to Niall’s POV:
Niall snapped out of his daze when people started getting up and moving out of the meeting room. As he was about to get up he noticed that he had locked eyes with the Prince. Tears made way to Niall’s eyes and rolled down his cheeks as he realized Zayn now knew Niall was his mate and he would soon be rejected. Niall tried to make his way out of the room but stopped once he heard a shout which was so obviously directed towards him.
“Disgrace!” The Prince shouted.
Niall who had stopped once hearing this prepared himself for what was inevitably about to come. Once Niall turned around he look at the Prince’s enraged face.
