Brand new continent, brand new country, brand new house, brand new school, brand new people. How will I fit in? My name is Savanna, I came from Canada and now I live in London. My parents were originally from here and they decided to go back because our relatives lives here. I'm 15 years old. I have a little sister named Carly, and I live with my mom and dad. It's my first day in school and I'm having mixed emotions. Will they accept me here? Will I get bullied out of school? Will I spend most of my days in the library because no one wants to talk to me? Thinking negative is just making me anxious, but even if I don't think negative I'm still scared. I just hope that the schools here are the same in Canada. I walk into my school and the head teacher assist's me to my class. I just sit there quietly while everyone is staring at me. What do I do? Do I have something on my face? I look down on my fingers and just wait to get into my first lesson. I had my list of subjects and I decided to go to my first lesson, which was English. I sat at the front and I just listened to the lecture. On my way out a girl approached me, 'Hello, my name is Grace, you're the new girl right? Sapphire if I'm not mistaken?'

'Oh no, my name is Savanna.' I said smiling

'Oh, silly me. Hello Savanna' She said extending her arm to offering me a hand shake

I recieved her hand shake and gave her smile 'Hi'

'Since you're new, I'll give you a little tour of the school later at lunch time. But before that I've got to get to drama. What do you have next?' She asked

'I also have drama next, do you mind if I go with you since I'm not sure where the drama room is' I tell her hoping that she would take me to the drama room

'Let me think, no...' She says

'Oh, alright. Thank you anyway' I answered

Grace starts to laugh out loud, leaving me confused. 'Did I say something funny?' I ask

'No! It's just funny that you believed my joke. Of course I will!' She says still laughing

I look at her, and I gave her a little chuckle, I didn't find that funny but I just wanted to show respect. Grace is a very funny girl, she's quirky and she know's it. She laughs at everything and she likes to kid around. I must say she's intellegent but she's just lazy. She's extremely outgoing and people call her weird but she just laughs at it. Grace is the kind of girl that doesn't care what people think, the important thing is she's happy. After drama, Grace brings me to the library to hang out. I'm not a book-reading kind of person, I enjoy interacting with people and walking around. I must admit that I hate libraries, but since I have no idea how to go around school, I just have to stay here. Just in case.

I'm flipping through the book's, hoping there's something interesting to read when a guy comes up to me. 'Hello, are you new here?' He asks

I look at him and answer 'Yes.' I get back to my books and continue to browse for an interesting book to read. He's still standing besides me looking at me then he decides to ask me another question 'What's you're name?'

I look at him again and answered 'My name is Savanna. You?'

'I'm Anthony' He answered 'nice to meet you, Savanna.'

'You too' I replied, I continued to look for an interesting book. He then smiles and leaves. Grace comes near me and taps me in the shoulder, 'Hey! Why was Anthony talking to you?' she asks

'I don't know, he just came near me and asked me my name.' I answered, she pulls me over to a bench and starts to chatter about him

'Firstly, I want to tell you that he doesnt just talk to normal girls. He only talks to girls that he like or people he likes. He's really quiet and trust me, he's never failed a single test.' she says
