Chapter 17 (The real thing)

I started to sob, this night has been a disaster

'How could you?!' I said crying

Anthony looked up to me and smiled 'Close the door on your way out'

I can't believe how rude he is. I feel like a useless mat. I froze and didn't know what to do but they just continued to kiss then they stopped and Natasha looked up to me and said 'Twat, close the door or join in!'

I ran out without even bothering to close the door. I couldn't believe my eyes. I ran outside and to the nearest park just to get away from the party. I haven't cried like this before. I feel like my heart is going to fall out my breast. How could something horrible like this happen. I don't deserve this. Or do I? Whatever, I can't be bothered to think when I feel like dying right now. No, I won't think of dying I still have my mom, Carly, and dad. My friends are there too. Suddenly I received a text from David. "Where are you Savs? I've been looking for you EVERYWHERE" all I want now is to be alone but I think I could do with a bit of company. "I just saw Natasha and Anthony making out on the kitchen counter. Anthony looked at me and told me to close the door on my way out. I'm at the nearest park. Help" SEND. Up until now everything is still a blur. After 5 minutes David, Ryan and Grace came up racing to me. I couldn't hold my tears back and I couldn't stop crying. They gave me a group hug and comforted me.

'I knew it! I'm going to beat him up!' Ryan exclaimed

'I'll come with you, Ryan!' David suggested

'Me too!' Grace added

Ryan came up to me and gave me a hug then whispered 'Savanna, I won't hurt you if you just say yes'

I pulled away and looked at Ryan 'Why do you like me? I mean I've rejected you more than one but you're still here'

He held my hand, looked deep into my eyes and smiled 'When you love someone, you'll be devoted to wait and wait. When you love someone, you'll be devoted to sacrifice everything. When you love someone, you'll know that after a long wait, you'll be rewarded. But in this story I won't only be rewarded, but I think I'll get the grand price. The most magnificent and beautiful human being ever walked the Earth.'

I blushed and stopped crying, I couldn't help but smile. I looked at David and Grace and they are giving me the 'Say yes you idiot' look.

'You remind me most of my departed mother. She loved to smile, she always laughs at everything, she cares for everyone and she's the most beautiful thing ever. I wanted to look for a woman that's just like my mother. I thought it was impossible, but here you are now. The impossible made possible. The only way to fulfill my dream is by saying yes. Just say it Savanna. Yes' Ryan added

'Ryan. You've been the best thing that has happened to my love life. I would like to be yours but don't you think it's too fast? I mean I just broke up- I mean, Anthony just dumped me' I explained

'Anthony is an idiot! He has no right to walk the same road as you. You're an angel and he's just a piece of mat that you should walk on and clean your muddy feet off. He doesn't deserve you. you're prefect and he's dumb. He didn't dump you, he just lost something precious' Ryan said

I have received a lot of compliment from him tonight but I don't think I'm ready for love.

'Ryan, I just need to go home and have a good night sleep. I don't want to make decisions now. I'm sorry.' I said

He backed off and said 'I respect your decision Savanna. Just remember that I'll always be here'

I sat on a bench and called my dad, at the car I told him everything that happened. He was furious but I told him that I could handle it my own. When we got home he told mom. I ambled up the stairs then to my room. I tried not to cry myself to sleep but I couldn't handle it. I wasn't crying 'bout Anthony. I just feel like I'm useless.
