Chapter 6 (The unexpected truth)

'Ryan?!' I exclaimed 'Why didn't you tell me? You're my bestfriends cousin!'

'I'm sorry, I guess it will seem weird in school' He said

'You know each other?' Charlotte asked

'Of course, he's a good friend of mine' I said 'He saved me from falling from the stairs'

Charlotte gave Ryan a hug 

'From falling? How?' Charlotte asked

'She almost slipped, luckily I was there to help her up.' Ryan explained

'By the way, why don't you want to hang out in school?' I asked

'I didn't know that you and Anthony are a couple' He said

'You have a boyfriend?????????' Charlotte grabbed my arm and gasped 'That is so cool Savanna! Didn't know you were interested in boys'

'Yes I do, and I think I grew up. He's so sweet and my parents met him' I said then smiled at Ryan, he smiled at me then looked down

'Do you want to take a seat, Ryan?' Asked Charlotte

'I'll just get a drink' He replied

Ryan went up to get a drink then Charlotte looked at me

'Sav' She said 'What do you think of Ryan?' She asked

'He's really nice and he's a good friend' I answered

Ryan came back and sat next to me

'You still didn't answer my question, why don't you want to hang out in school?' I asked again

'It's nothing, it would be better like this' He answered

'I know you, what's up?' Charlotte asked

Ryan looked at Charlotte and laughed 'The ceiling' 

'You've never changed. Still the same wacky cousin' Charlotte said pushing him a little

I think Ryan is hiding something and I want to know what's it all about.

'So, how is Vanessa?' Charlotte asked

'We broke up' He replied

'WHAT?!' We both gasped

'What happened?' I asked

'It's nothing' He replied

'It's always nothing, I know you Ryan. You're my cousin. Just tell me the truth' Charlotte scolded

'There's another girl' He said

'Oh, and who is this other girl' Charlotte asked

'You'll meet her, hopefully one day' He answered

'Will I meet her too?' I asked

He laughed and replied 'Yes'

I smiled at him and we continue to chit-chat

I decided to take the bus with Ryan, it's a fun way to hang out. We exchanged our numbers earlier and I've learned a lot of things about Ryan. Ryan wants to walk me down my place so we started talking while we were walking

'Savanna' He asked

'Yes?' I answered looking at him

'Do you want to meet the girl that I was talking about?' He asked

'Yes, only if you don't mind?' I asked

'Not at all, I'll call her' He said

Ryan pulled out his phone and called someone, suddenly my phone starts ringing. I look at it and see it's Ryan

'You've got the wrong number Ryan' I said laughing

'No I didn't' He answered

'B-but....' I stuttered 

'Yes Savanna, I love you' He said then sealed it with a kiss

'Oh my gosh! I can't believe it, this is wrong I've got a boyfriend and I love him' I thought to myself, I pulled away 

'What are you doing?' I asked

He couldn't answer and he was just staring at something behind me, I turned around and in my surprise I saw Anthony.
