Description: You've known Jasper for years, always were by his side. Unitl now. After Mount Weather you came back to Camp Jaha and you found your mother was alive. You and Jasper stopped spending time together a while ago. But something is about to change now.

" Unity day was awesome, we had a lot of fun. First time since we've landed on the ground. That was the moment I realised that Earth can be our home." you were talking to your mother, while sorting food. She came on the ground with the Ark and now you had a lot of things to talk about. You were telling her stories about your first days on the ground. You didn't want to speak about Mount Weather yet and she knew it.
"Did you make new friends? I noticed you don't spend time with Jasper and Monty anymore." she said passing you food cans.
" Well, we don't get along anymore. And yes, I made new friends. In the mountain I got closer with Harper and Miller. I also like Clarke, but she isn't here now." you answered. You didn't want to talk about Jasper.
"Poor girl Clarke, so much responsibility lies on her arms." she said concerned.
"That's probably why she left. But it wasn't only her. Bellamy pulled the lever with her." you muttered.
"You're right" rest of the work passed in silence.
You didn't want to, but you couldn't stop thinking about Jasper. You almost forgot about him lately. He was nowhere to be seen. Also you were tired of him. You always liked him. Even more than liked him. You met at primary school and automatically became best friends with him and Monty. You grew up together. After they got locked in skybox you were visiting them all the time and bringing them little gifts. You thought Jasper liked you too. He was always giving you this cute, goofy grins. And then gourds caught you stealing food for them and you got locked up too. You were seeing each other only during ground skills classes with Pike. But that was the time when Jasper noticed Octavia and couldn't take his eyes off her. You felt like you meant nothing for him back then. After dark times came the day when you landed on the ground. At first you were joking and laughing with Jasper and Monty, but you splited up. They went looking for Mount Weather and you stayed in the camp. When they came back without Jasper, you panicked. Was he really gone? You didn't believe it. You joined the rescue team and you got the boy back. You spend hours sitting next to him and taking care about his wound. The moment you went to pee he woke up. And next to him was Octavia Blake, he fell for her completely. You were spending time together, but all he was talking about was Octavia. You were sick of it, but you thought he'll eventually stop this madness. You were wrong. You watched him getting hurt by Octavia, when she met Lincoln. You knew he suffered, but you weren't sorry. You took care of him, when he got high on peanuts and he told O that he loves her. It felt like your heart broke, but you still stayed with him.
Then it was better. Mount Weather happend and at first it was amazing. You were trying new food together, going through all the rooms and just having fun. And another girl showed up. Maya. You couldn't hate her, she was sweet, but she wasn't for Jasper. She was too good for him. You knew it'll end bad, when truth came out about what mountain men want. Jasper and Maya didn't have future in front of them. But you didn't tell anything, you were supporting friend. You helped with rebellion, you were fighting. You killed. You and Jasper were good team and it was enough for you. But everything ended, when Clarke and Bellamy killed everyone from Mount Weather. Jasper broke down, you met your mother, Monty was recovering after taking bone marrow from him. You decided that it's the end. You left the boys and started new life. You spend a lot of time with your mom. You found your friends from the Ark. You were working a lot. You helped Abby in the hospital. You were happy. Trully happy. You weren't thinking about Jasper until your mother had mentioned him. Your story was sad, but you didn't regret anything.
After you finished work, you went to see Raven. You were helping her deal with the bad leg. Since Wick has left her, she got worse. On your way to her, you spotted Jasper talking with Bryan. He looked quite good, he wasn't even drunk. You walked faster so he wouldn't notice you. You got to the building.
You entered engineer's room, but Raven wasn't there. Actually it was empty, no one was there. You sat on the desk and took some papers in your hand. You were looking at farm plans, while waiting for a friend. After few minutes you heard silent foot steps on the corridor. You put papers away and looked at the door. Soon you realized it wasn't Raven foot steps. You didn't hear limping. It sounded more of like... Jasper. Weird. You came to the door and pulled it in the same time as someone, who pushed them from the other side. Boy bumped into you almost making you fall. It really was Jasper. You were right. After all this time you still recognized his foot steps. Amazing, you thought.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know you were pulling the door" Jasper said. He was visibly nervous and worried.
"It's okay. Nothing happend." you calmed him down. "What are you doing in here?" you asked after a minute of awkward silence.
"I wanted to talk to you." you raised a brow. What? "If you want to" he added.
"Why not" you answered a little bit shocked.
He leaned against drawer and took a deep breath.
"I want to apologize to you. Because I'm sorry. I'm trully sorry. And I wish I could change the past" he said quietly. He run one hand through his hair.
"I like you. I like you a lot Y/N. And I know you used to like me, but I was too stupid to notice it. Now I see it. I was so distracted by Octavia nad Maya, that I forgot about you. And you were always there for me. You always supported me, always cared, even when everybody else left me." he did a small break, but you didn't say anything, you wanted to hear more. "I had to lose you to see how much you meant for me. I treated you as something permament. I thought that you'd always be there for me and that was my mistake. I'm so sorry." he swiped a tear.
"I need you." he continued. "I need you, because I love you. Please give me one more chance. Only one, I promise I won't waste it." he took your hand and looked at you. His eyes were like fire, you almost felt the heat beating from him. He was Jasper. Your best friend, who annoyed you, who made you cry, who laughed with you at inappropriate times, who knew you better than most of people. I'd always forgive him, you thought. But you said something different.
"Only one chance. If you ruin it, our relation will be gone forever." you whispered. He leaned to you, your foreheads touching.
"I'm not going to waste it." he repeated and kissed you.
It was just like you imagined it, even better. Tender, but passionate. That kiss told you more than words.
