"Y/n, I have a question." You heard from down the hall. You look and see your least favorite person. Monty.

"What do you want?" You ask annoyed.

"Well I was wondering if you'd go to prom with me?" He ask shyly.

"No, Monty, we all know how it's gonna end up. You breaking my heart like you did the last few girls. " I say walking away.

"No, y/n, you're different. It's not gonna end up the way you think. I like you a lot."

"Forget it Monty." I say walking away.

the next day

I walk into school and everyone for some reason was looking at me. I walk up to my friend Hannah.

"Why are people looking at me?" I ask confused.

"Look." She says smiling and pointing to her left. I look up and see Monty holding a big sign and a dozen roses.

"Y/n, I like you a lot and I want you to know that I've changed. You mean the world to me. Would you please go to prom with me? It'd make me the happiest man in the world." He says looking at me.

I smile with tears in my eyes.

"Of course Monty." I say giving him a big hug. He gives me a kiss on the cheek and hands me the flowers.

"You're so beautiful." He whispers.
