Long ago, when I was just a child, I was attacked... by a vampire. I fell unconscious during the attack. When I woke up, I was in a dark room with candles all around me. I was scared, but I didn't show it on my face; however, it was more like... I couldn't show it. I felt cold, expressionless, and dead. As my eyes were getting used to the dim-lighted room, I heard a click. A tall, dark brown, wooden door creaked opened and a slim, shadowy figure entered the room. I couldn't make out the figure as the shadow avoided the lights.
"Awake already?"
The voice of the dark figure was shaky and cold. He reached out his slender hand towards me. I sat there unable to move as he grabbed my neck and lifted me off the ground. He pulled me close to his face and made me look into his glowing red eyes. He muttered foreign words and I fell unconscious once again.
