I was crying in me pillows when I heard knocks on my door.
« Oi, (y/n), open. »
I get out of my bed and wipe my tears away while heading to the door. « What do you want ? » I mumble.
« Just open, brat ».
I slowly open the door and look in Levi's grey eyes, trying to hold back my tears.
« I'm sorry. » Levi says in a monotone voice.
My eyes start filling up with tears. I look down At my feet and burst out crying.
Levi pats me on the head. "There, there" he says awkwardly.
I cry even more. "I feel so lonely !" I yell, putting my arms around him.
Why am I doing this? This is so embarrassing. But I really need a hug right now. I miss Carla, I miss the kids, I miss my mom.
Levi's eyes widen. "It's gonna be alright" he mumbles.
I let go of him and sniffle. Levi pulls out a handkerchief out of his pocket and hands it to me. I wipe away my tears with it and give it back.
"Just keep it brat." He says, still in a monotone voice.
"Thanks."
"Now get some sleep, tomorrow's gonna be busy for y'all cadets." He says, closing the door.
I put the soft piece of fabric under my pillow and dove of to sleep. Levi's arms somehow managed to relax me, how weird.
