Five Months Ago

"Guys, I have someone I want you all to meet. Her name is Courtney and she just moved in down the hall." Bridgette said as she passed out beer to the group.

Gwen rolled her eyes, "Remember last time you introduced us to someone? They literally tried killing us!" She laughed.

Bridgette crossed her arms, "It is not my fault Heather was a total sociopath."

"A hot sociopath." Duncan smirked as he took of sip from his beer. Gwen playfully hit his chest and rolled her eyes.

"It's alright pasty, everyone knows I only have eyes for you." He said as he pulled her closer to him and smiled.

"Someone's gettin laid tonight." Geoff said as he got off the couch and walked over to Bridgette, who was in the kitchen cleaning up the spilled alcohol.

Gwen and Duncan sat on the couch, snuggled up together. The two had been together since freshman year of high school. Five years later and they were still going strong, or so people thought.

"Courtney! I am so glad you're here, please, come in!" Bridgette said.

The brunette walked in the apartment, she had on a green/greyish sweater with dark blue ripped jeans and brown ankle boots. Her hair was put into a messy bun, and needless to say she looked gorgeous.

Duncan and Gwen both got up to introduce themselves, but when he saw her, it was like he completely forgot how to speak.

"Duncan?" Gwen asked.

"Huh? I'm sorry did you say something?" Duncan came back to reality.

"I asked if you were gonna introduce yourself." Gwen awkwardly said.

He smirked, "Yeah sorry. I'm Duncan."

Courtney smiled, "Nice to meet you." She shook his hand.

Her hands were soft, and smooth. Her baby hairs fell in her face as she shook his hand.

He couldn't help but smile, she looks so damn beautiful.

Hard to believe this is how it started, by a simple handshake.
