How you were the first to make me speak.
Mum said she thought I was born mute because I was always quite quiet.
She said she loved to hear my voice, but I never spoke much.
As time went on, I fell in love with writing. Never really favoured talking.
Because of that, people just took the fact that I liked writing into a habit. They believed I was mute and I didn't blame them for it.
Writing became my own comfort zone.
During my last high school years. That time on the roof.
