"What changed your mind?" Amreen asked as she followed Amaan to his room

She was so surprised when she heard he agreed for the marriage, not that she doesn't want him to but Amreen knew him very well.She knew how much stubborn her brother could be.

"I told you.Dad told me to think about it and i did.Shouldn't you be happy.You wanted me to say Yes." Amaan replied

"Yes i wanted you to agree but you weren't even ready to think about it till yesterday and now all of a sudden you are ready to marry her.This is suspicious."

"Come out of your detective mode.I just realized there is nothing wrong in marrying her.I mean she is my friend and we know each other."

"Bhai just tell me the truth.You know you can't lie to me.Did something happened at Haya's place?" Amreen asked

"No" amaan lied

"What happened?" Amreen asked knowing that he is lying and Amaan sighed in defeat

"Safeer happened" he frowned

"Safeer?"

"Haya's cousin.Don't you remember him?"

Amreen thought for few seconds and then nodded "oh that freak you used to hate.Right?" She asked

"Yeah exactly"

"What about him?"

"He is into Haya.I can't let him marry her."

Amreen walked to the couch and sat on it."You are marrying her so that Safeer doesn't marry her?" She asked

"Don't put it like that" Amaan scowled and sat beside her.

"Then how should i put this?"

"Well..I think Safeer was a push for me to agree" Amaan shrugged

"No thats not true and its not right unless you are jealous of Safeer and you like Haya"

"I am not jealous of him.I care for Haya.Thats why i am doing this." Amaan remarked

"But what if she wants to marry Safeer?" Amreen said

"No she doesn't.I know her and Safeer is just not her type" Amaan snapped

"You were away for years.People change Bhai"

"What do you want me to do Amreen?" Amaan sighed in exasperation

"I want you to make a right choice.I don't want you to marry her just because you want to protect her from some bad guy.She is mature enough to do that on her own" Amreen said

Amaan pondered for few seconds and then answered" But i feel like its the right choice.I think even if Safeer had not came in picture, i would have made this choice only."

"Maybe you should pray Istikhara" Amreen replied

"Ofcourse.Why didn't i think about that?" He exclaimed

"You know i think its time for you to leave"Amaan pulled her up from the couch and started pushing her towards the door.
