Amaan stretched his arms, cracking the Knuckles and closed the laptop. Finally it was lunch time. Since he had joined office, the new responsibilities had exhausted him but it was also thrilling for him. The work load may be a lot but he enjoyed it. He was half way up from his chair when there was a knock on door.

"Come in" He shouted and sat back.

Haya emerged from the door, making him smile

"Don't tell me i am betrothed to a workaholic" Haya commented drinking in the sight of Amaan whose hair was dishevelled by shoving hands through them  hundred times.

"And what if you were?" Amaan asked

"What a shame for i thought my decissions could never disappoint me" She said and sat on the chair opposite him.

"We can agree on disagreeing then"

"I am afraid so"

"Anyways.. How am i honoured by your visit?" He asked

"Well..you joined the office. Shouldn't i come and visit my husband and see how he is doing" She answered

"I am flattered"

"Don't be..I came to talk about last night's dinner"

Amaan's eye brows knitted in confusion and answered "What about that?"

"You and Zayer..You both didn't seem to get along"

"Well it's like a law of nature. Brothers- in- law always tend to have strong dislike towards each other."

Haya grinned as she answered "Did he showered you with 'you better take care of my sister or i will kick your ass' lecture?" Haya asked

Amaan nodded in affirmative "Something like that" He replied

"Come on Amaani..He is not bad. He is a brother. You are also a brother. You gotta understand" Haya explained

"That reminds me..Did you talked to Amreen?" He enquired

Haya hesitated a bit before answering "yeah i did"

"And?"

"And she is fine. You don't need to worry about anything"

He stared intently at her countenance and answered "You are lying!"

"No i am not"

"I know you well enough to figure out whether you are lying or not"

Haya took an audible sigh "Do you trust me?" She asked

"Yes"

"Then believe me when i say there is nothing to fret about" She assured

"But she is being different"

"It's just a girl thing."

"And she told you not to tell me?"

"Yeah"

"Fine..but just promise me she would be fine?"
