It was either September or November and everybody was talking about homecoming. And when I mean everybody I mean everybody. People were hype asf 😂, especially my grade ~ we were freshman at the time ~. Girls were talking about what dresses they were gonna get 🛍🤷🏽♀️. And guys were talking about which girls to ask out 🤷🏽♂️. Every day or at least every other day you would see girls getting asked out to homecoming 👀. I didn't get asked out to homecoming, none of the black girls in my grade got asked, but that's besides the point 🙄... but sis I didn't need no date cuz I knew I could slay on my own, ya feel me 😛👑. I asked my friends if they were going and my friends Mia and Emily said they weren't going because they thought it was stupid but I tried to persuade them. Keep this in my because this will come into play later in the story 😏.
**Now fast forward to the homecoming football game 🏈🔵⚪️<< my school colors 😏😍**
So since this was the night before homecoming I was staying the night at Janeeses house. We got ready for the football game, we brought blankets and baby powder (I'll explain the baby powder don't worry 😂😂) and drove to my school where it was at. And of course it started raining when we got there ☔️😒, thank the lord I had a hoodie 😍, cuz us black girls know that rain and our hair do not mix... especially when you just straightened it which I did that day 😅.
Later that night 💫, it started getting cold asf so Janeese and I got hot chocolate from concessions 😍❄️☕️. And when we came back, I peeped one of the black guys at my school, who's name is Yavant, cuddling with this girl 🤐. Keep in mind I've seen Yavant around school but didn't know him very well and I've heard of the girl he was cuddling with but Janeese was friends with her. So I pointed it out to Janeese and I asked her if they were dating and she said I don't think so. It seemed pretty sus to me 🤔.
So a little bit later Janeese and I were getting hungry but we didn't feel like going down to concessions again 😂. So then Yavant all of the sudden comes over with fucking Popeyes's chicken and gurllllll you know I needed a piece of that chicken 🍗🤤😋. Janeese and I literally begged Yavant for some chicken like we were homeless 😫🏚, he kept arguing with us talkin bout some: "you can have the biscuit"
When you know damn well I didn't want no biscuit 😂.
It took a while but ya girl finally got some chicken 🤗🐥. When the football game was close to ending everyone got their baby powder out because everyone is supposed to throw their baby powder everywhere 💨(idk some kinda tradition I guess 🤷🏽♀️) . And I was lowkey dreading that cuz I didn't want shit getting in my hair 😂😂💆🏽 (it didn't btw 😜👌🏽). But after the baby powder was over with Janeese and I left because we honestly didn't care to stay for the fireworks cuz that's where everyone was talking bout making out and I heard guys sayin "Ima finger and eat her coochie under the blanket" 😭😭💀💀 ... yea no thanks fam 🙄✋🏽🛑. So we left and that was that.
**Next day: Homecoming day 💕🎉🎀**
I had to wake up at like 6:00 in the morning since Janeese had a volleyball tournament and I was going to go watch her play with her mom. She kicked ass btw ✊🏽😼🏐.
But once the tournament was over Janeese went to get her eyebrows done and after that we went back to her house and just chilled in her room until it was time to get ready. 😋😋
About an hour or so later we both took showers and did our hair and makeup 💄. I was wearing a pink dress and Janeese was wearing a black one. Once we were both ready, Janeeses Mom drove us to our friend Ariana's house to take homecoming pictures which ending up looking cute as ever 📸😻😻
So after the pictures we were on our way to homecoming and when we got there and got into the place it was in we said hi to our friends, hugged them complimented their dresses and what not 💃🏽😋. But as soon as them lights went off and the music started and you knew that's when the party had started 🎉😛😏. Ima be 100 with y'all and say I was on my lil hoe shit 🤦🏽♀️🤕🤐.... twerking and grinding but hey it's only one night and I wanted to have fun and get turnt tf uppppp 😎🔥🔥.
While Janeese, Ariana and I were dancing we saw Mari (the girl Yavant was cuddling with during the football game) and started to hang out with her and a group of guys came over 👣. Their names were Jay, Bryan, Andrew and Yavant. 👥👥
Bryan had a girlfriend which was Mia, the girl I mentioned in the beginning, ~ they dated for a year ~ but something apparently happened and they weren't together at the time.🤞🏽❌
**Time for the tea to be spilled 🐸**
So Mari was grinding up on Yavant some other guys (yes I am friends with Mari to this day). But then all of the sudden I see Mia and she told me she decided to show up 👀. Yes she was Bryans Ex at the time so when she showed up I was dancing next to Mari who was grinding on Yavant 😮. And I guess she peeped Bryan (her ex) who was talking and watching us (Janeese, Mari, Ariana and I) twerk/dance next to Jay. Because ever since then she hasn't talked to me. I guess she didn't talk to me because I was dancing next to her ex boyfriend 🙄, or because I was associated with someone who was dancing by her ex boyfriend or she thought I stole her man 😒... I really just don't know tbh 😕. Even if I was all up on Bryan she really can't get mad because again... they weren't together and still aren't to this day. She literally cut me off on everything ✂️, all she did was give me dirty looks the Monday we came back to school 😒. I thought it was childish because 🍼:
One she never told me why she stopped talking to me ✋🏽
And two she tried to get my friends to stop talking to me which ain't cool at all😡
It was crazy cuz Mia and I have literally been friends for years and it just all went away because of one night... ☹️🗑. Be careful because that's how fast you can lose a friend 🤧💔👋🏽
