one thing I genuinely think girls in our generation struggle with (especially women of color) is loving yourself 😍🌹.
The reason why I say especially women of color is because I feel as though black girls go through way more trouble when trying to love them selves from learning to accept the color of your skin to learning to accept the way your hair is 🙇🏽♀️.
I remember being little and pointing at white Girls saying 🙋🏼:
"Why isn't my hair like theirs" 😢
I would get so frustrated to the point where I would cry because I wanted my hair to move and blow in the wind like all the white girls 🌬
Sis.....I was comparing myself to other girls since I could talk, which is bad never compare yourself.☹️👋🏽
In our society women constantly think that you need a man or a significant other to make you happy and honeyyyyy you really don't 😫. Once you find happiness within you that's all you need 😚☀️☀️. But if you try and find happiness is someone else you could end up getting hurt in the process because people prove over and over that they are untrustworthy 😕. You dont need a man or any one to validate your happiness for you. 🤕
Over the years I really think women have grown into accepting the fact that men are "proven" to be better than women 🙄. But all that really teaches us is that's where our happiness will stem from 🌱. There's types of girls that sleep around or date different men strictly because of the fact that men will tell you what you want to hear 💬. And there can be some instances where they don't mean what they say
YOU SHOULD NEVER EVER DATE OR SLEEP WITH ANYONE TO MAKE YOU FEEL WORTHY OR TO FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE THE ATTENTION YOU DESIRE

The reason why I say this so strongly is because I have been there sis. I have been in that position before where I date guys who feed me compliments that I've somehow have trained my brain to believe 😓 . I've dated guys to make me feel happy because I wasn't doing it myself and lemme tell you....it's not a good feeling once you realize what you've really just done to yourself 🤒💔💔
For 2017 please make your goal to Be happy of who you are and be unapologetic for it 😋
