Ch. 20

I was running late for Raw due to a phone interview I had to do for the company, I couldn't stop starring at my ring Colby asked if I could hold off on announcing it on my instagram for right now wasn't to sure why but I did as he asked. I walked into the building wearing shorts and a rolling stone t shirt 

"hey your man is on" Naomi caught me 

I moved my ring into the back of my hand and clinched my hand into a ball 

"see Dean you think your the best but you ain't the best" Colby stood there with his security 

Jon picked up the microphone "that's not what your girl said" people started to get a big reaction I felt Renee's hand on my shoulder she knew I didn't want our past brought up in there segment. 

"yeah is that so" Colby took a step forward "because I'm not like you I don't take money from her family then just leave her" the crowd boo'd Jon shook her head "see Dean the thing that's so different between us is your unstable not even sure what the hell your doing in your life where me I know where I want to go and I know what I want that's why I did what you will never do" he smirked "I asked her to be mine forever" he looked around "yes that's right last night I surprised her and I asked her to marry me"

Jon laughed "she's a fool" then attacked him 

"your engaged" Renee asked then other's asked I moved my ring back forward and showed everyone I was getting hugged and told congratulations but honestly it didn't feel like he wanted to marry me because he wanted to 

"excuse me" I placed my bags against the wall and walked towards the gorilla waiting for them to come to the back 

As they walked through Colby had a big smile on his face but then faded when he seen I wasn't "babe what's wrong" he stood in front of me 

I stood there looking down then up "if this engagement was just a part of your skit for out there then" I took my ring off "then no I don't want to be engaged just to pick at him" I handed him the ring "I thought when you proposed it's what you wanted deep down but clearly it's just for a publicity stunt" I played with my fingers "I don't want my past with him being brought up like this in public and you know that and even you" I looked at Jon who stood there listening I shook my head "I'm done" I shook my head then walked off I didn't care who listened 

Colby POV

"your an ass" Renee looked at me shaking her head "both of you" she walked off people past shaking there heads I looked down at the ring I knew she was right it looked more like a stunt then a real proposal. I ran towards the womens locker room looking for her but she wasn't there so I decided to look outside but she wasn't there where could she be I walked in the back but I was stopped by a member of management 

"your needed in fitting" he request so I followed

Jon POV

I seen Colby looking for Krystal but knew he didn't find her I walked outside and went looking through the spots between the trucks where I found her sitting down smoking I walked up "listen I am sorry" I sat next to her she didn't even look at me she flicked her cigarette "he's looking for you" 

She shrugged "I'm just a prop for him" she leaned back against the truck "why even start"

"he was gonna bring up no matter up Kris and I didn't even mean to say that I was thinking it but it just came out" I knew no matter what he was gonna brag about the engagement  

She laughed standing up "whatever" she walked off I sat there putting my head down 

As I walked in I could hear Colby and Krystal yelling "Dean your needed in the office" a worker walked up to me great. 

Krystal POV

I walked back inside soon greeted by Colby "we need to talk"

"of course we do what then hell Colby I told you I didn't want my past brought up with him" I yelled "and using the engagement as a prop you know how much that hurts how embarrassing that is" I shook my head "I love you Colby but I don't know if you feel the same way"

He looked down "I still love you but it's hard seeing you two"

"you really think I'd go back to him" I scooted closer "I'd be a damn fool he broke me Colby" 

"I didn't want to use our engagement as a stunt but he made it go to it" he grabbed my hands "I still want you as my wife I had this planned for a couple months I wanted to ask your dad's permission first but looking as I never met them I didn't want to wait no longer I had the ring picked out"

I looked up at him "I want you to met them but you have to be prepared with the bullshit they will give you" 

He nodded "I will" he reached behind him and pulled the ring out "will you still marry me" 

"of course" I smiled "but no more bullshit like this out there"

"of course" he nodded 

I scooted closer to him playing with the hem of his shirt "you still got a whole room to yourself" I bit my lip he smirked leaning down kissing me he grabbed my hand leading me the way.
