thanksgiving
dear rose,
they came over today, your family. your parents smiled and so did your sisters, zinnia and azalea. i talked to them about everything, from the weather to school to the recipes for the food. when i was showing zinnia to the bathroom, i asked her what was new in her life. she told me your parents are thinking of moving out of state, but she didn't say why. i really hope that's not true, but if it is i'll miss them.
also, i want you to know that i'm thankful for the time we had together even if it wasn't enough.
