Chapter 14: The Dance

Emma's POV:
Tonight's the night! It's the Annual Kikiwaka Dance! I'm so excited! I've already prepared my dress. I took a very long time in the bathroom. Everyone was outside except for me. Once I was done I went outside and saw everyone. I saw a lot of girls coming to Xander. Then I saw a lot of guys coming to me. There were so many guys I can't see anything anymore. Then all of a sudden I accidentally bumped into someone and it was Xander.

Me: Sorry.....Xander?
Xander: Wow! Emma, you look great!
Me: Thanks! You don't look bad yourself.
Xander: Thanks! Wanna dance?
Me: Sure!
He held my hand and we went to the dance floor. My wish finally came true!
Xander: A lot of guys coming, huh?
Me: Yup
Xander: Why didn't you dance with them?
Me: I have someone else in mind.
Xander: Who?
Me: Let's just say he's the perfect guy for me.
Xander: Well, I hope you find him.
Me: I hope so. What about you? Why didn't you dance with the girls?
Xander: I have someone else in mind too.
Me: He must be the perfect girl for you.
Xander: She is. I'll be right back. I'll just go to the bathroom.
Me: Ok.
Lou called me all of a sudden.
Lou: Emma!
Me: What?
Lou: We need your help in carrying the food for the dance.
Me: Ok. Where is it?
Lou: Freezer
Me: Ok.

So I went there. I was confused on which to get so I just got the Otter Nuggets. Then Xander came.

Xander: Emma, what are you doing here?
Me: Lou told me to get food for the dance.
Xander: She told me to do the same thing. Let's get out of here.
But then someone locked the door. It was Lou and Ravi.
Me: Get us out of here!
Ravi: We can't!
Xander: Why?!
Lou: We can't tell you!
Me: Ugh! We're stuck here!
Xander: Don't worry we can do this.
Me: How do you know?
Xander: Cause Ravi's blocking the door.
Me: Good point!
Ravi: Hey! I heard that! And FYI Lou's blocking the door with me.
Xander: Ok! We're doomed!
Me: Good thing there are seats here.
Xander: Yeah.
Me: Remember when Zuri and Jorge locked us here?
Xander: Yeah. I also remember that you almost wore rat mittens.
Me: Haha! I remember that too.
Xander: There were so many memories back then.
Me: Yeah.
It was starting to get cold. I was shivering.
Xander: You look cold. Here's my jacket.
Me: Thanks.
Xander: I have a question.
Me: What is it?
Xander: Why did you say no to Zachary? I mean you love him, right?
Me: I do love him. Sure, he's charming but he's not the perfect guy for me.
Xander: Oh well I hope you find him.

Then I heard a noise.

Me: What was that?
Xander: I think someone's opening the door.
It was Tiffany, Zuri and Jorge.
Tiffany: What are you guys doing here?
Me: Lou and Ravi locked us in here.
Zuri: Why?
Xander: We don't know. But what matters is we're safe. Thanks guys!
Jorge: No problem.

We went back to the dance floor and partied all night. This is a dance that I will never forget.
