phil knew something was wrong with dan.
dan had been coughing too much for him to shake it off like nothing had happened to him. he knew something was off, and yet he couldn't place his finger on what's wrong.
dan had been too frantic on shaking off phil's words when phil asked. dan was too panicky, and phil could see it.
something was wrong, and phil wanted to know what.
but dan, stubborn dan, wouldn't tell him.
phil groaned a little as he leaned back to fall onto the soft duvet of his bed, causing the bed to creak under his weight.
he really wanted to know what happened to dan, and he was certain that he could help him.
but something was nagging in his mind, telling him that he couldn't help anything this time.
he ignored it.
