Part 4

On the way to the forest you and Gandalf rode in the back and you told him that you knew what was to come. You told him that some members ,who was going to die and how they were going to die. You told him you wanted to stop it. He was a little hesitant about it at first but said it was your ultimately your choice.

Once you all got to the edge of the Mirkwood Forest, Gandalf separated from the company and told them not to stray from the path. And them being the stubborn, pigheaded dwarves they are, they followed Thorin off the path.

*Timeskip*

You were standing at the end of many bows and arrows, and looked around to see if Bilbo got away. He did and you sighed with relief. You were currently standing next to Thorin and in front of Legolas (cue the internal fangirling). As soon as he walked up to the company, you bowed slightly and greeted him. You surprised everyone with this, especially Thorin (more agitated really). " You know who I am, human?" He says more an amused statement than a question.

" You are Prince Legolas Thranduilion." You respond.

"How do you know this?" He ask.

"Stop conversing with that elf trash Y/N." Thorin snaps at you.

Dwalin comes closer to you to move you behind Thorin but you end up standing your ground. Eventually Legolas loses interest and moves on, or so you thought. When you all entered Mirkwood Thorin and you were sent to Thranduil's throne room, while the others were put in cells.

" You are not of this world are you little one?" Thranduil says.

"No, King Thranduil. I am not." You respond.

"What is a child, like you doing traveling with a bunch of dwarves on a suicide mission?" He asks.

Before you could answer "She will answer no more of your questions you pompous snake." Thorin snarls.

"Thorin he holds the very key to our survival, don't insult him. Our lives are literally in his hands." You say very low hoping on Thorin heard you.

"The girl is right Thorin. Guards take this child to a cell. I have business to discuss with Thorin alone." He says with a smug look on his face.

You get to your cell, and the company bombards you with questions. When Thorin gets to a cell and they ask him questions, they were a surprised to find out you understood what Thorin told Thranduil. When Thorin told everyone what he said you sat there with an unreadable look. So Bofur asked "Do you know what he said lass?"

"Yes, he told him to go burn in dragon's fire or something along those lines. Right?" You said.

" You mean this whole time, you knew our tongue?" He says almost frantic.

" No I just know a couple of phrases. That just happens to be one of them." You respond.

*timeskip*

"Bilbo! You made it!" You whisper-yelled.

Once he let you all out you headed towards the cellar and told you to climb in to the barrels. He pulls a lever and everyone is sorta free. 'halfway to freedom' you think to yourself.
