Breathe!
Dear child,
did your mother never tell you
that the world is your oyster?
Breathe!
Sweet child,
did you listen to your father
when he introduced you to the sun?
Breathe!
Young child,
how could you frown so deep
when the trees grow so high?
Breathe!
Oh, child of the Earth,
feel the rush of the wind between your fingers,
hear the sound of the animals' songs,
take the beat of your heart as it steadies with the crash of the ocean waves,
and hold it close to your chest.
You are no less than the brightest flower, the greatest forest, the highest mountain,
for you are equal to all of the Earth,
and the trials of life could never take that gift,
so don't you ever dare forget to
