If the world revolves around the Sun,
then why do people pass their days
without sparing her a single thought?
She cries tears of flames,
dreary of being overlooked by those
for whom she dedicates her life.
Were the Sun to disappear,
humanity would have no choice but to acknowledge
that she is their lifeline, their hope,
the center of their universe.
Weary of overwhelming neglect,
she will eliminate their option
of ignoring her existence.
She ensures that she will be eternally cherished
by writing herself on the final page of their stories.
And so, she stops her tears.
And, in turn, stops their hearts.
