Betty's POV:
Everything in life was great.
Veronica and Archie were dating and Jughead and I were...
Meant to be.
I love him so much but I haven't told him that...yet.
Veronica just keeps reminding me of how easy it is to say it to him.
"Betty, just tell him you love him. It's that easy."
"No it's not Veronica."
"B, I told Archie I loved him and he loves me too a-"
"Veronica! What if he doesn't love me?"
"Betty, he loves you. I've seen the way he looks at you and whenever you're gone he's always worried about you."
I gave her a look.
"What? I'm serious B. You should hear how worried he is. Believe me, Archie wouldn't be that worried about me."
I laughed. "Of course he cares about you."
"Jughead cares about you too Betty. He loves you. I know it."
I smiled. "I'll tell him when the time is right."
She laughed. "Okay. Speaking of, Jughead's heading over here so I've gotta run. Bye."
I giggled. "Bye."
I felt Jughead put his arms around me and I kissed him on the lips. "Hey."
"Hey." He said with a smile.
"Can we meet up at Pop's after school?"
"Sure." I replied.
"Okay. See you later." He said and kissed my forehead.
"Okay."
I said and we went our separate ways.

I went to Pop's after school to meet up with Jughead.
I could feel butterflies in my stomach.
Veronica and I's conversation this morning replaying nonstop in my head.
"Betty. Betty!"
"Yeah."
I said as Jughead interrupted my thoughts.
Both of us sitting in a booth at Pop's.
"Something is obviously bothering you. What's up?"
"Nothing. I'm fine Juggie."
I gave him a reassuring smile.
"Betty, I know you're lying."
I stayed silent.
I could tell he was thinking about something and then his eyes lit up.
"I need to take you somewhere."
"Where?"
"Do you trust me?"
"Juggie I-"
He looked at me.
"I trust you."
We walked out of Pop's and Jughead and I walked to who knows where.
But I did trust Juggie.
I know he wouldn't hurt me. He wouldn't let anybody hurt me.
I saw a blanket set up under the stars.
"You set this up didn't you?"
"Of course I did. Who else would?"
I giggled and then laid down on the blanket, Jughead doing the same.
There was silence until he broke it. "What were you thinking about earlier?"
"You won't ever stop asking won't you?"
He sat up and then looked at me.
I sighed and then sat up looking into his eyes.
"Jughead...you're the greatest guy I've ever met in my entire life. Sometimes I ever wonder, why am I dating this guy and I think about how I'm so lucky to have you."
He smiled.
"But..."
He looked at me with a worried expression on his face. "But what?"
"Sometimes I feel like...I'm not a great girlfriend at all."
I started tearing up. "And...you deserve more then me."
Tears started pouring out of my eyes like a river.
He shook his head. "Betty-"
"Jughead, you deserve more than me. Archie's right...I'm just this stupid, perfect girl next door!"
"Betty, that's not true!"
"I have to go Juggie."
I stood up and then started walking away.
"Betty!"
I looked back at him.
"What do I deserve then?"
I wiped a tear away and sniffles a little bit.
I looked up at the sky. "The sun, the moon...and the stars."
He looked into my eyes as I looked into his. "Betty Cooper. You're not the perfect girl next door. News flash! Nobody is perfect. You're the most beautiful girl I've met and...I love you Elizabeth Cooper! You're my sun, mom and stars."
I smiled at him. I ran up to him and placed my lips on his. A kiss full of love that I couldn't describe because it was so beautiful.
"Jughead Jones I love you too." I said happily and he pulled me into another kiss.
