Betty's POV:

"Come on Betty! It'll be fun! Forgot the schoolwork!"

I thought about it for a minute. "Fine, I'll go."

"Great. Now let's find an outfit to wear to the carnival!"

I picked out this outfit:

Once we were done getting ready, we headed to the carnival.

"Veronica, I really didn't wanna come because-"

"You're not a third wheel Betty."

"Yes I actually am. You and Archie have fun. I'll go have fun by myself."

"You sure B?"

I nodded my head.

"Okay, but we're doing something tomorrow just us two."

I laughed. "Ok bye V."

I walked up to the Ferris wheel and got on.

I felt someone tap me on the shoulder.

I turned around and met eyes with a guy.

"Hey, I was wondering if I could ride on it with you."

I smiled. "Sure."

We both sat down and then a few minutes later once all the people got on, it started.

I looked up above us.

"So what's your name?" He asked.

I looked back towards him. "Betty. Betty Cooper."

"Jughead Jones." He said and I smiled.

"So what are you doing here lonely by yourself?" I asked and he laughed.

"I wasn't lonely. I had a couple of friends with me but I don't know where they went."

I nodded. "Same here."

He laughed. We continued talking, and the Ferris wheel was at the top.

I looked at the pretty view. "Oh my gosh. I can see everything!"

Then I heard it. The Ferris Wheel stopped.

I saw people yelling and screaming to get off but they couldn't because they were at the top.

Others were getting off immediately since they were at the bottom.

"This is gonna take forever." I said and looked down.

He tilted my chin up. "We can still talk."

I giggled. "True. And we could be talking on ground but no we have to be up top."

He laughed then held out his hand.

I grabbed it and we held hands the entire time while making conversation.

An hour passed and we were still there.

"It's final. I'm falling asleep here."

He chuckled. "You're tired already?"

"Yeah." I said and he laughed a bit.

I laid on his shoulder and took a cat nap, then woke up because I heard something.

"What was that sound?"

He rubbed his eyes and I looked at him. "Someone else was tired as well."

"Yep."

I giggled. But then I felt the ferry move.

"We're getting out...finally."

"Yeah."

We got off of the ride, still holding hands.

I looked into his eyes and smiled.

He gave me a smile as well.

His hands slowly left mine and we went our separate ways.

But I couldn't just leave him like that!

"Juggie?"

He turned around. "Yeah?"

I ran up to him, then placed my lips on his.

Once we let go, we stared into each other's eyes.

"You think I was gonna leave without getting your number?" I asked and he laughed.

I got out my phone and gave it to him, him doing the same.

"I'll call you later okay?" He said.

"Okay." I said and walked off back to the car.

There was a car there earlier.

Veronica and Archie must've taken it.

I called Jughead.

He answered. "Already."

I laughed. "Can you turn back around? My friends took the car and I need a ride."

"Of course."

He went back and drove me home.

After that night, life couldn't get any better.

It's funny how it all started on a Ferris wheel.
