"Ello,mum?" I said, twirling the phone cord around my fingers.
"Yes dearie?"
"Did you need the groceries anytime soon?" I asked, playing with the buttons on the phone booth.
"No."
"I wanted to go hang out with friends, I'll be back." I said.
"Mhm ok Hun just be back before 9:00!" She sang, and hung up.
I closed the door to the phone booth and walked towards the boys.
"Are ye good?" George said, tilting his head.
I gave them a thumbs up, and we were headed for John's house.
