that Hope can be
more than the first thing you see

it can be a person
that left her body behind
for her Hope disappeared
and she could not see
that she was one of a kind

but it can also be the feeling
that disappeared inside of her
the feeling she couldn't find
it was the Hope that died

I hope you read this book
with an open mind
I hope you took in the words
so your heart now is signed

so every time you see someone
standing alone
you will go up to them
you will make them feel at home

you will put up
comforting walls
mend everything that is broken
fix the cracked windows

for you will never know
what people are going through
and they might not tell you
but to be there for them
