My Voice

My poems are dark
But the words are pure
They are my thoughts
Words
The way i think
But is it the thing i love?
The answer is complicated
But I'll say this
I want you to know how i feel
Know how i think
And my opinion on the topics in my book
And I'm not saying feel what i feel or love my poems
What I'm saying is i want my voice heard
And not be muted
I want people to understand my writing and not think
I'm just some copy cat or something no!
These words come from my mind and some from my heart
My writing maybe dark
But I'm just any other girl i just want people to hear
What i think and not think that I'm doing
It for the fame no i want my voice heard
So will you listen?
