"Willa watch out!" Cecilia shouted to Willa as the bludger was heading dangerously close to hitting her head. Ducking just in time, Willa sent a thumbs up back to Cecilia after avoiding the bludger by inches. Davies was making practice extra long and tough for our match against Hufflepuff tomorrow. They weren't our toughest or fiercest rival, but we needed to prove ourselves to be contenders for the House Cup. You never really know what could happen with those badgers.

Cecilia was scanning the area and her teammates below, when she spotted the bludger out of the corner of her eye, coming her way. She swung her bat fast and hard, sending it flying across the pitch.

Not many people would believe that booksmart, nice, quiet girl Cecilia Hart would be one of the best and strongest beaters Ravenclaw had ever seen. Her first game she hit so many bludgers towards the chasers not only did they win, two of three walked away with broken arms. Willa was the other Ravenclaw beater. Cecilia's partner in crime. Well Quidditch. People were surprised she could even balance on her broom without falling off, but she was stronger than she let on and could hit a bludger harder than most of the guys at Hogwarts. Willa loved to fool around and be loud, but when it came to Quidditch she was very focused. Many people doubted the two Ravenclaws, even their own team members, because not only were they different than your typical Quidditch player, they were girls. The only two girl that were beaters in Hogwarts. When both girls announced they would be trying out for beater, they would be lying if they didn't receive a few laughs or scoffs. But once they mounted their brooms, all doubts were knocked alway with one swift hit of a bludger. On the Quidditch pitch they were quite well known amongst their peers, in school they were easily forgotten.

Once the grueling practice was over Cecilia was drenched in sweat and in desperate need for a shower. But Willa seemed to have managed to get broken finger during practice and requested her company to the Hospital wing to get it mended by Madam Pomfrey. The corridors were fairly quiet, luckily for Cecilia in her disgusting state, but that didn't stop them from seeing the occasional couple making out in the corners, or Percy Weasley patrolling the halls like a muggle police officer. When they reached the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey immediately tended to Willa who was moaning like a baby. She could handle broken arms and legs, but a finger? Not a chance.

Cecilia sat outside waiting for her friend, the brisk fall air biting at her cheeks. She gazed down the corridor when her eyes focused on two figures walking down the hall. Being quite loud, the two weren't exactly hiding their presence from others.

"This is our best one yet!" A tall boy smiled, almost giddy.

"I must agree, it's quite clever" The other one smirked in agreement.

Cecilia stayed leaning against the wall, pretending not to listen. Failing to blend into the wall.

"It looks like we have a witness" Suddenly both figures stopped and turned to face her. Cecilia wanted melt back into the wall, not only was she eavesdropping, but she was disgusting from Quidditch practice and the last thing she wanted was for someone to see her. The darkness that was now draping the corridor made it hard for Cecilia to see who the figures were, but she had her suspicions.

"Who are you?" One asked.

"Cecilia Hart" She stammered looking up at the two.

"Oh you're the beater for Ravenclaw" They noddded.

"Well Cecilia Hart, we would tell you our names but... you see our predicament"

"Getting caught?" She muttered under her breath.

"Precisely" They said in unison.

"I'm just waiting for my friend, but I suggest you two go on your way" Cecilia motioned.

"We thank you for your secrecy"

After Quidditch practice and seeing the two strangers, the rest of the night was deemed uneventful for Cecilia. She returned to the common room with Willa and they played exploding snap until well into the night. Cecilia was getting ready for bed after her shower, when she looked into the mirror above her sink. She looked at the reflection staring back at her, trying to imagine what she would look like in color. Cecilia didn't know what color her hair was, her mother had always refused to tell her ever since she was young.

"It will be more special if you find out once you can see it for yourself" She would always say as she would brush through it each night, but still without fail every night Cecilia would ask.

Cecilia ran her fingers through her long hair. She didn't have anything to base it off of because she had never seen color in general. But what Cecilia did see in the reflection, was her freckles. She had a lot of them. Her father would always joke that she was freckled head to toe since the day she was born, and that he could never take her frowning face seriously because her freckles made her "too darn cute". Cecilia was a quiet girl, which was the complete opposite of her best friend, Willa. Evan however was the perfect inbetween. The balance that had glued the three friends together.

Cecilia continued to inspect herself in the mirror, running her fingers over her freckles. Interrupted by Willa walking in for a shower, Cecilia walked out just in time to save her ears from Willa's horrendous singing.

The next few days passed by quicker than Cecilia would have liked, but the days were boring and she was secretly hoping for some action or at least something interesting. That came when the Great Hall was greeted by dungbombs, leaving the place smelling horrible. Fred and George Weasley were deemed the culprits, unsurprisingly those were the two she saw in the corridor just days before. She could see why Molly asked her to look out for Ron and now Harry. Responsibility was not the Weasley twins strong suit, however pranking was right up their alley.
