Have you ever had to choose between your mind and your soul? I have and let me tell you, it's no walk in the park, or in my case, the woods.

I never believed in Wives tales or superstition. Those were things for children. But sometimes things change and you have no control over it.

Harriotsville was supposed to be a small getaway for me. A place to clear my mind from the mundane tasks of day to day life. Instead it took my mind from me and jumbled it to pieces.

Life can be a fickle thing. I learned that the hard way. Emotions can run wild and you can't always catch them. People love and they lose. They have faith and they live in despair. And sometimes you're given everything you've ever wanted at your fingertips only to have it ripped away before touching it.

I'm Ember, and this is my story.

Just remember, if you talk enough sense you might just lose your mind.
