▪ 29. She Left. ▪

"Chanda mama so gaye sooraj chachu jage!" Cabir screamed on top of his lungs.

I tried to hide my face in the pillow but failed miserably. Man, he was loud!

"Arey Cabir subah subah kiske chacha, mama ko yaad kar raha hai!" I screamed sending a flying pillow on Cabir's face.

Bullseye!

I crack opened my eyes slowly adjusting the light. I saw cabir pestering everyone to wake up.

"Wakey wakey people! Hume airport jana hai!" my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Cabir yaar! Airport itni subah?" Dhruv asked rubbing her eyes.

"hah! Sanaya is going back to Delhi to stay with her parents." he said shrugging his shoulders.

"What!?" I shouted. 

"Yes! You heard me right. She is going. Uski flight 2 hours main hai. Hurry up people! Usse good bye kehena hai." he said.

"Why!?" I asked a little slowly this time.

"She says wo apni baki ki padai vahi karegi!"

"Oh!" Alya said nodding in understanding.

"Abhi, chashmish aur Fenil kaha hai?" I asked on not finding them in the house.

"Woh morning meh Abhi ki mom ka phone aaya tha toh they went Pune to meet them. Raat tak aajayenge." he said fidgeting with his phone.

Kal tak toh sab thik tha! Achanak sanaya ko kya hogaya? Suddenly why is she going to delhi?

Everyone hurried up and headed to the airport!

Reaching there we saw Navya and Sanaya with some bags.

"We will miss you!" Alya said wrapping her arms around her.

"I hate to say this but tum chali jaogi toh mujhe 'jiju' kon bulayega?" Cabir pouted sadly.

"Tension mat lo I will call you every day to trouble you!" She said sticking her tongue out and we all smiled at her antics.

"Pagal! Hume bataya bhi nahi that you are leaving. 2 hours pehele we get to know, that too from Cabir!" Mukti glared at her and she smiled sheepishly and mouted a 'sorry!'

"Happy birthday Muku! I will miss you too." she said breaking the hug.

"I will miss you! Jana jarori hai kya?" Dhruv asked and hugged her. She just nodded and a tear tickled down from her cheek.

She wiped it before anyone could notice.

"I will miss you all. Bohot sara!" she said.

"Tu bhi kuch bol de. Isse sab se jyada tu hi miss karega." Cabir said nudging my side.

"I need to talk to you, alone!" she just nodded and followed me and I gave everyone an assuring nod.

"Why?!" was my only question to her.

"Mom, Dad they need me there and I have decided to complete my studies there." she said in a low tone.

"This is what you told others, I need to hear the truth. " I said in a stern voice.

"Yeh hi sach hai!" She said looking here and there.

I cupped her cheeks and made her look at me. My sight softened after seeing tears in her eyes.

"Why, Sanaya why? Please maat jao..." I said and a tear escaped my eyes.

We shared everything like literally everything! She has seen me cry, laugh,fight my battles but never left my side. She and all my friends are my support systems. Ek bhi aise chala jayeg toh mera kya hoga!

"Manik! I have to... I-I  love-e you... Always have and always will. I know mera pyaar ek tarfa hai but still I love you. Aur tumhe kisi aur ke sath nahi dekh paoungi! I now feel ki Nandini ke ane se pehele hi mujhe tumhe bata dena chahiye tha, toh hum shayad aaj sath hote. I have nothing against you and Nandini. You both are made for each other but these feelings hurt when I see you with her. I just need time. I hope you understand. Leaving you, infact leaving everyone is difficult for me please don't make it more difficult! Mat roko mujhe!" she completed and my hands left her face.

I still can't believe it! Sanaya loves me? She has feelings for me? I have never seen her more than a close friend!

"Kuch kaho Manik!"

"I don't know what to say!" I said ruffling my hand through my hair making it messy.

"Are we still friends?" she asked unsure and more tears made way down her cheek.

"Ofcourse stupid." I said and pulled her into a hug.

"Manik! I'll miss you." she said and I broke the hug.

"I will miss you more, stupid!" I responded.

"Meri feelings ke karn you are not upset na?"

"It's difficult fr me to digest the fact that you have feelings for me. I am sure this is just an infatuation. You are nineteen Sanaya! And you will find someone more better!" I smiled at her and wiped her tears.

"but I want you!" she said hugging me.

"Sanaya listen to me! Day by day these feelings will vanish I am sure. This is just an infatuation. Aur yeh hota hai you are still small!" I tried my best to handel the situation.

"tumne Navya ko bataya?" I questioned.

"Nahi! And tum bhi yeh unhe nahi bataoge! Promise me!" she said forwarding her hand.

"Promise!"

She just nodded and we made our ways towards others.

"lo aagaye dono!" Navya said spotting us.

"Bye!" she said slowly, after hugging everyone.

"We will miss you!" we all said in unison and saw her disappearing into the crowd.

She left.
