Chapter 68 - When There are No Words, Music Speaks

The end of April was nearing close. The past three weeks had been quiet for Draco and Aliah and personally, they loved it. No one to answer too, no one to boss them around and more importantly, they didn't have to constantly look over their shoulders to see if they were going to die at any moment.

Aliah sat in her hammock strumming a few chords on her guitar while Draco was surfing the internet on her laptop. He was proud of himself, he was a quick learner and decided to search up everything he knew about the muggle side of Harry Potter. Draco wasn't too happy that he was written as number two on the hot list, Harry Potter being number one.

"Number two," Draco scoffed

"Well in my opinion whoever wrote that site is biased, probably a fake Gryffindor," Aliah said. Draco swiveled in his seat and leaned back with his hands behind his head.

"What are you working on?" he asked

"Nothing much, just a song," Aliah shrugged. Draco rose from his seat and sneakily stole the book from Aliah.

"HEY!" she yelled. He knew how much she hated people touching her song book. To Aliah it was more private than her diary. A diary told others what happened while music tells people the feelings.

"hey look you wrote it as a duet,"

"Give it to me Draco,"

"Only if we can sing it,"

"No,"

"Then too bad," Draco tucked the book under his arm and walked away

"FINE!" Aliah walked to other side of the room to her keyboard, whacking Draco at the back of his head on the way and planting herself on the stool. Draco stood behind her and placed the book in the book holder on her keyboard. Aliah brushed her fingers over the keys and nodded her head for Draco to start

Draco wrapped his arms around her before he joined in with her in harmony

Aliah played the last few notes before stopping. Draco bent down to kiss the top of her head.

"It's not finished,"

"Have you got anything else?" Draco asked. Aliah returned her fingers to the keyboard

Aliah stopped playing and turned to Draco, tears were forming in her eyes but she did not let one fall.  "I wrote that the night I realised I was in love with you," Aliah said. Draco lifted her up and hugged her tightly. Aliah felt his heart beat faster against her own chest. She brought her hands around his neck.

"When there are no words, music speaks," Draco said.
