Kara's POV

The alien throws me against the wall. Now, I always see the best in people, but this guy doesn't seem that great. He runs out of the room, through the DEO, jumping out a window. When he lands outside, he continues to run down the street. To make matters worse, President Olivia Marsdin is coming to National City today to sign an executive order that will provide America's extraterrestrial visitors with amnesty. That means it is even more important to catch him as soon as possible.

As I said, we don't have time to go get him. I have a meeting in ten minutes. I doubt he will cause much trouble, and if he does then we can locate where he is and get him back to the DEO.

"Winn, start tracking him down. I'll be at Catco. Then, we can go see President Marsdin. Alright, bye!" I fly away. My throats still hurts a bit. It seems he got the super strength. I'm really sure he is from Krypton, and I want to see what he remembers from the planet. I would love to talk to someone about the culture and language, someone who remembers it as I do.

When I enter the meeting room, I am met by an argument. Apparently Cat is leaving James in charge, but my boss, Snapper, is saying he is unfit.

"I think James would be a great CEO." I break into the conversation, making my presence known.

"Oh, look who finally decided to show up." Snapper says with a look of disapproval on his face.

          "I'm two minutes late."

"And look what you missed." Rao, this guy is impossible. "Be here five minutes early next time."

"Alright, I will. But anyways, James would be amazing at this. And I would trust Cat's decisions if I were you. She knows quiet a bit."

"Thanks Kara." James smiles at me.

"Wait, did Kiera grow a back bone overnight?" Cat looks amused. "She is right though, I know what I'm doing." Snapper nods, picks up his papers, then leaves.

"I have to go. I need to tell Snapper about my idea for my next article. Bye James. Bye Miss Grant." I wave goodbye, then rush after Mr. Carr.

"What is it Miss Danvers?" Snapper says, annoyed, after I poke his shoulder. He needs more sleep. Then he may be less cranky.

"Um, I was thinking on doing my article on the president and the Alien Amnesty Act."

"I don't think that is a good idea. I mean, this is your second day on the job. I believe we would want someone more experienced writing this article."

"Please give me a shot. I think I could do really well with this. I'm very passionate on alien rights, so I should write an expressive article."

"You have to report on stuff you won't be biased towards. We can't persuade people by showing one sided stories. They have to be both sides of an argument, the pros and cons. You have so much to learn."

"I will write about the different sides! There will be why people are for it, and why people are against it."

"No, that's my final answer." He walks away, which clearly means he is done talking to me. But that doesn't stop me.

"Can I do my article on Lena Luthor and her stance on aliens?"

          "Will you stop bugging me?"

          "Yes."

"Then fine, but don't make me regret it." This is probably the second best outcome. I can't interview the president, but I can interview someone I really want to know better.
