Dare Say Goodbye?

I made a mistake
Now open my mouth,
Take me down to the lake
Where my demons stake south,

For they do not care
Should I live or die,
Would you even dare
Dare say goodbye?

I've taken with me my art
For it is my work,
To me its a living part
To you I'm a dork,

You simply just read these
These prolonged sentences,
No attempt to say please
No plea for acceptances,

If you are listening
Would I live or I die,
Your care is just glistening
Dare say goodbye?

My thoughts are surrounding
My demons are drowning,
Or so I was confounding
For you see they were prowling,

They swam mighty close,
Took to my throat,
Had made me their host,
Its what sank all my hope.

Now that they're mad
They chose to have me die
Leave me to be sad
Dare say goodbye?
