Heart and Brain

My heart and my brain,
Oh they started a war.
One too overwhelming,
For my body doesn't know what side it's for.

My heart wants to hate,
My brain wants to wait,
Oh your body is standing,
But my body is failing.

If my heart could do more,
Than pump in four over four;
It would tell your heart about,
The reasons why you I'll never doubt.

If my brain could do more,
Than open up my door;
It would tell your brain about,
The reasons why my happiness is drought.

If my body could do more,
Than just stare at these enemies;
I would beg and I'd plea...
But your body still wouldn't hear me.
