Breathe Into Me

Why is it you take

My lips by force.

My body like no divorce

My soul at its bleeding source,
My heart and thoughts to leave my mind terribly hoarse.

Then yes you have the nerve you see,
To reach inside my mangled corpse,

To pull out my secrets to serve to me,
So then like space everyone's mind warps.

What is it like to sit and take away

All of my dreams that never see day
All of my hopes that never be pray
All of my loves that never could say
All this does is tell death I'll be right upon my merry way.

Yet you choose to breathe into me,
However can you live about like this?

Razor sharp breath cuts my hollow shell for all to see,
Our mind and body end up a twist.
