Jasmine looked at Tony like he had 2 heads I just sat there and looked in amusement that was until Lucy walked over to me and slapped me
"Again seriously what the hell did I do to you this time"I asked but I was stood up now and pissed off my dad grabbed my hand and squeezed it softly and I kinda calmed down a little
"You called me your ex-girlfriend I'm your sister"she said and crossed her arms no I can't do it I can't hold back anymore I'm trying so hard as if on cue Uncle Chris walked in and all my anger disappeared I just looked at him silently
"What cat got your tongue"Jasmine said laughing I looked at her and all my anger came back but I didn't do anything I just walked out putting my sunglasses on did he have to come I could heard Chris calling my name but I just keep walking I reach outside and someone grabs my arm but I snatched it away and turned around to see Kim I sighed and looked down
"Sorry Kim I'm a bit on edge"I said and looked down at her she nodded and looked up at me I could tell she's been crying
"Sorry I wanted to talk to you I didn't know if you were still here and you left your phone"she said giving me my phone I thanked her and took my phone I grabbed her hand and took her inside to the cafeteria we sat down
"We can talk now so why have you been crying"I asked she looked down and played with her hands not saying anything I grab her hands and held them she looks at me and I smiled and nodded
"Okay so I was driving home with Chris and we were almost there and I saw cop cars and ambulances and I look and I saw 3 body bags I'm not sure who they were so I told Chris to turn around and go but he got out the car and went to see who it was I panicked and ran back to the hospital"she said by the end she was shaking and crying so I sit next to her and hold her while she's crying I rub her back making her cry harder the nurses that past by gave her a sympathy look I smiled a bit at them I looked down at her and saw she was asleep I grabbed my phone and called Uncle Tony he answered
"Hey Uncle Tony can you come down to the cafeteria and be quiet.....yeah sure bring one more person with you and tell them to be quiet as well.....and have your car keys on you.....thanks"I said and hung up I sat there looking down at Kim but I looked up and smiled when I Saw Uncle Tony but stop smiling when I saw Uncle Chris if I can even call him that Uncle Tony looked at the sleeping Kim in my arms
"I'll explain later we just need to get her home"I said quietly she stirred and let a tear slide down I wiped it away and picked her up just before we walked out of the hospital a little boy with a blanket came up to us and pointed at Kim so I sit down all the way and he looked at her dry tear stains and shook her awake I looked around to see almost everyone looking at us I looked back down at Kim and saw she was awake but not awake the little boy gave her a hug and started to do sign language Kim looked at me confused
"He says his name is Cameron and he was born mute so he's sorry if you can't understand him he saw your tear stains and he wanted to give you this"I said and he gave her his batman blanket I smiled at the little boy and he gave me a hug I hugged him back and we communicated him sign language and me just talking regularly I took the paper with my number on it out of Kim's back pocket and gave it to the little boy to give to his mom I smiled at his mom and handed the once again sleeping Kim to Chris and stood up walking over to his mom
"Where's your dad little guy"I asked he looked sad but I kissed Cameron on his head and he smiled again
"That's why we are here his dad is in the final stage of cancer and he only has a little time left"his mom told me I nodded and showed a little sympathy
"You want to know something Cameron my dad is here to he's up in icu right now so how about this I'll come back tomorrow after school and you can show me your dad okay?"I said he nodded and clapped his hand I smiled and we walked out but not after telling Cameron see you tomorrow and Chris giving me back Kim
